Mikael has an extensive educational background with degrees in traditional music performance, composition, recording technology, and film scoring.

Whether you’re wanting to play drums in a rock band, audition for college as a classical bass player, or become proficient on guitar for the couch or the campfire, Mikael’s students profit from his comprehensive credentials and solid theoretical background.

His experience as a film composer, sound engineer, and band and orchestra member, allows for Mikael to coach his students, as individuals or in groups, with real world common sense and wisdom.

Work Experience

Mikael is a classically trained bass player and has been playing music since the age of 6. In addition to private lessons, he teaches The History of Rock and Roll at College of the Desert in Palm Desert, CA, where he is currently the Bass Instructor. He has scored films and commercials, played in orchestras across Europe, and records music in his private studio.
